About Hill Country Rollout

Where the data comes from

Dated events are pulled automatically every day from public sources:

• Pivot Cycles demo tour: 3 upcoming events
• Spider Mountain Bike Park: 0 upcoming events
• Submitted / hand-added: 8 upcoming events

RunSignup and BikeReg listings come from their public event search APIs. Club rides come from the San Antonio Wheelmen and STORM public calendars. Trail races come from Tejas Trails' race pages. Bike demo days come from Pivot's demo tour page, Spider Mountain's event calendar and shop and brand pages.

Weekly rides and runs (61) are hand-collected from public pages, and each one links to its source:

• Nelo's Cycles ride directory (user-submitted listing): 27
• Pub Run San Antonio local run groups list: 11
• Bike San Antonio group list: 8
• MTBATX recurring weekly rides: 3
• Community Impact (Sep 2023): 2
• Trail Roots Running: 2
• Community Impact profile + customer reviews: 1
• r/Newbraunfels thread (Nov 2024): 1
• Two Rivers Running: 1
• San Antonio Shoutouts (Jul 2025): 1
• Breakfast Club ATX: 1
• Nelo's Cycles: 1
• r/BikingATX thread (rider reports): 1
• Bike Month ATX listing (May 2025) + r/BikingATX: 1

Some of those sources are directories or news stories that may be out of date, and each listing shows the date we last checked its source. If a field like pace or start point isn't published, we leave it blank instead of guessing.

We don't use Strava data. We don't scrape private Facebook groups.

Always confirm with the host before you go. Rides get cancelled for weather, routes change, and shops move. Spot something wrong? Tell us.

How we make money

Local sponsors, clearly labeled featured listings, and some affiliate links to gear and registration sites. None of that changes what we list or how we describe it.
