Plan your own gravel
The map above can show every county road and minor road that OpenStreetMap tags as unpaved and not private, from San Antonio to Austin and west to Castell and Leakey. It's a planning aid, not a route list: surfaces change, some roads end at gates, and the tags can be wrong. Only roads a mapper has tagged with a surface show up, so plenty of real gravel roads are missing.

Routes and trail info are for planning only and may be out of date. Conditions change fast after rain. Never cross a low-water crossing with water flowing over it. Ride and run only where it's public and allowed; respect closed gates, private property and park rules. A line on a map is not permission to be somewhere. You go at your own risk. Spotted a problem?
